This blog will only follow back those who are 18+, and it is requested that minors do not follow. Mature themes will be present, and may not always be tagged. For my ease, I request that any starters or responses to asks, replies or the like that you intend to continue to threads be moved to a new text post instead of using the reply feature or sending me an ask. In turn I will do the same for you, unless you request otherwise. This does not apply to one-sentence starter memes that I have reblogged, feel free to use the ask box for those. Random starters are welcome but do not send them through the ask box, please make a new text post instead.

I heavily request that you specify which muses you are most interested in interacting with so I may cater starters towards you more effectively. This is my first multimuse blog, and I am inexperienced at running one. If you are a multimuse with more than 5 muses, please specify who you want things for or I will not reply. I reserve the right to pick and choose which muses I interact with (or don't) on a multi. On the topic of catering starters effectively, please do not write me generic starters. I am always open for plotting if you need more of an idea, but I am unable to respond to generic ‘stranger interactions’ without a strong source of conflict or plot such as bumping into eachother randomly, or asking my muses to show them around, etc. None of my muses are the personality archetype that would comply with this or entertain small talk from a stranger, they’d simply walk away and refuse to interact.I'm generally a plot-oriented, more 'serious in tone' RPer and accept 'crack' RP on a case-by-case basis. It is not something I typically enjoy with everyone and need specific muse chemistry to actively take part in. I'm also a conflict focused roleplayer and find stories without a central plot (also known as 'coffee shop AU plots') uninteresting and I am unlikely to engage in those sorts of interactions. Conflicts do not have to be character VS character. They can also be character VS society or character VS environment.Furthermore, Please don't write me a starter in which your muse does not initiate contact or interaction in some way. Contact and interactions can verbal or physical. I find starters without interaction difficult to reply to. I do not consider it godmodding to place my muses at a scene, especially if it’s something we’ve plotted or if it’s written that they frequent said places in my lore, information, or biographies. Please do not reply to a thread with your muse attempting to leave the scene with no prompt to continue if you do not intend to drop or end the thread. If this is done, I will assume the thread has ended and will not reply.

As shipping goes, I'm reluctant for some of my muses, and eager for the rest. You can see each individual muse's shipping eligibility on their pages. Since some of my muses are elderly, there may be age gaps present on this blog. I will not ship with muses under 30 as all my muses are older adults. I will not ship with minor muses or aged up versions of canonical minors. I will not ship with muses that are listed with a playable age range in their bio that goes below 30 years of age, no matter what age they are played at.NSFW or suggestive content may occur on this blog. It will be tagged, and anything explicit will be under a readmore. This blog is a safe space for risk-aware consensual kink. This blog is not a space for zoophilia, pedophilia, incest or other sorts of nonconsensual sexual encounters. I will not engage with content that promotes or romanticizes nonconsensual sex in any form.

Mun isn't muse. My muses will all hold some form of problematic view or another. I do not share these views, nor do I tolerate bigotry, slander, or other emotional violence towards myself or others.

I am mutuals only and private and though I reserve the right to decline rp with anyone for any reason, I rarely will do so. I consider myself fairly open and would like to interact with as many people as possible. I rarely unfollow mutuals- but occasionally accidentally unfollow sideblogs. If you were unfollowed or blocked, you are allowed to ask me why if we had ongoing threads or plots. I will usually give close friends or frequent writing partners advanced notice if I need to cut contact for any reason. However, I will not contact those who block me.Please note that I may not realize it if you softblock. I regularly unfollow nonmutuals, so if you wish to unfollow, please either unfollow regularly or hardblock, depending on your comfort level and needs.

Consent is key. Communication is key. I will not initiate nsfw content including smut, character death, violence, etc, without verbal consent. I request you do the same, though with violence that is nonfatal and non-disfiguring, consider this consent on my part. You're free to harm my muses this way, or harm them emotionally. When I say ‘communication is key’, I mean it. Please do not interact with this blog if you’re uncomfortable communicating in a healthy manner. Healthy communication includes being on either end of simple grievance-airing and being open and willing to engage in problem-solving.If you’re following me, I expect you to be okay with me coming to you with issues I have with our RP partnership, including but not limited to mentioning violations of my rules, discomfort with the direction of a thread, and declinations of specific interactions (or in simple terms, ‘I’m not going to answer this specific meme/ask and here’s why’.) I also expect you to come to me to communicate dissatisfaction in the reverse situation.Dark themes will be present in writing, including suggestive themes, cultish behaviors, abuse, manipulation, surgery, institutions, religious themes, torture, gore, and health disorders, both physical and mental. For the sake of ease on my end, mentions of these will not be tagged by default. Any explicit depictions will be tagged, though. If you would like something specific to be tagged please ask me and I will tag it to the best of my ability.

This blog, The Conplus the muses, and the world are all original creations by myself, Rosario. The graphics on this blog belong to myself, as does all art unless stated otherwise.

WHAT ARE THE PROMINENT LOCATIONS OF AELDRIA?

    THE THEOCRACY OF AELDRIA:
The THEOCRACY OF AELDRIA (Al-drie-ah) is the main faction, or kingdom, of Aeldria. It is ruled primarily by a divine King and secondarily by a religious movement. The movement in power has shifted over the years. The Conplus of Aeldria is the most recent sect to have the King’s blessing.
    HOLY CITY OF VITANCE:
The capitol of the Theocracy is the HOLY CITY OF VITANCE (vite-inss) which is a port city with a bustling market district. To the northwest of the city is the slums, where most of those who are of lower social standing are segregated from the noble district, to the east, where the wealthy reside. A river splits the districts, and on that river sits the CONPLUS OF AELDRIA. The Conplus occupies a small shrine aboveground and a massive series of hidden catacombs that run underneath the market district.
    THE ROUGELANDS:
The ROUGELANDS (Row-g-lands) are where most of the outcasts from Aeldria’s theocracy end up, those that escape alive, that is. It’s filled with criminals, traitors, and rebels, and is considered the criminal underground of the continent.
    IMPERIAL AKCAMURA:
IMPERIAL AKCAMURA (ack-cha-muh-ra) is a foreign land towards the east. They are often at conflict with the Theocracy over trade and land, but have occasionally provided military help the few times those from the Rougelands crossed over the mountainous borders of the theocracy. They are ruled by an imperial family who’s dynasty has existed for thousands of years.
    GREITACIA’S RIFT:
GREITACIA’S (Gree-ta-see-ah) RIFT is where the current tear in reality is. It is dangerous territory that remains unexplored by the three factions. This is supposedly where the first Fae, Elves, Dragonfolk and other magic races appeared.

WHAT ARE THE 7 CITIES OF THE THEOCRACY?

Mount Terminus Range — Technically a territory and not a city, as it is mostly uninhabited due to both harsh volcanic terrain and the rare invasion from the Rougelands, should they wish to brave it’s crossing. It serves as a protective barrier between the Theocracy and the Rougelands.Montaggarde — A rural, feudal area with fertile soil from the nearby Mt. Terminus’s volcanic ash. It has an ethnicity comparable to France, and is the ethnic homeland of Archsurgeon Frederic. The Holy City of Vitance — The capitol of Aeldria and current home to the Conplus. It has an ethnicity comparable to Rome. All of the current Archclergy reside here.Fidatim — A more suburban district closely tied with the Holy City. It has an ethnicity comparable to Italy, and is the ethnic homeland of Archteacher Fidel.Aktiporio — A bustling port city with arguably more activity than the Capitol itself. It is the center for Aeldrian trade. It has an ethnicity comparable to Greece, and is the ethnic homeland of Archcrusader LithosAkcameus — The western of two territories conquered from the Akcamuran Empire. It is poorer than the surrounding Aktiporio and Kokkasa cities, and is mostly rural. The people here are usually a mix of ethnically Aktiporian and ethnically Akcamuran, as this territory has been disputed between the two up until the recent acquisition of the Kokkasa territory.Theocratic Kokkasa — The more recent territory acquired from the Akcamuran Empire, given as part of a peace treaty. While the culture is far more Akcamuran than Theocratic Aeldrian, it remains under Theocratic rule. It has an ethnicity comparable to Turkey, and is the ethnic homeland of Archfather Zain.

WHAT LANGUAGES ARE SPOKEN IN AELDRIA?

Aktiporio, Fidatim and Montaggarde are the only Aeldrian city-states with their own languages: Aktiporian, Fidatin, and Montagese respectively. Aktiporian is the world’s equivalent of Greek, while Fidatin is akin to Italian and Montagese to French.Theocratic Kokkasa speaks Akcamuran as their primary language, while Akcameus citizens usually speak both Aktiporian and Akcamuran. Vitance speaks predominantly Fidatin and Historical, or Latin’s equivalent, but there’s a wide array of other languages there as well.Mt. Terminus Range has no set language due to being mostly vacant, but if it were to have one, it would be Rougeish, or the equivalent of Spanish- which had been adopted by the people of the Rougelands after conquering the region beyond Mt. Terminus from the Theocracy’s colonial hold. The original language of the territory was Historical.

DOES THE CONPLUS BELIEVE IN HEAVEN AND HELL?

YES AND NO.The primary afterlife the Conplus believes in is REINCARNATION. Souls are finite. Life could only make so many of them in order to leave enough resources for Art to form the world, so they must be RECYCLED.At the end of a life, the soul is passed from Art, to Death, to Life, to Art, and repeat. Art is the world of the living, of the present. Death is what happens when Art’s bodies give way and can no longer bear Life’s soul. When bodies are weighed after death, there is a period of Reward and Punishment akin to Heaven and Hell, however these are not eternal planes. Souls are either punished- tormented and beaten by Death to cleanse them before being handed to Life and Art, who will construct them a wretched beginning. (They must live purely despite all the hardships they were born into in order to redeem themselves.) Or they are rewarded, given a brief feeling of all the joys the Gods can offer them, before being passed to Life and Art for a privileged start in life. If they abuse this privilege, they will be judged poorly when they die again, thus being punished and born poor, etc. There is a permanent afterlife, however…. but it is for the rarest cases: Souls that are too important to recycle, and must be preserved in their current life. These would be the souls of saints, or Martyrs, as the Conplus calls them. Martyrs are extremely rare, often once in a millennia as they do reduce the supply of available souls when one is preserved in the Heavens. It is the goal of nearly every Conplus member to one day become a Martyr, and if not to be come a Martyr, than to be judged favorably after death and give their successor a good life.Do note, however, that Death can only judge the souls of Humans; Death does not grace Elves, Orcs, Dragonkin or Fae with his time and judgement. Thus, fantastical non-humans are incapable of ever being rewarded, let alone reincarnated. They are ultimately going to spend the rest of their afterlife being punished.

CAN YOU TELL ME SOME FUN FACTS ABOUT AELDRIA?

== ‘AELDRIA’ IS A NAME SHARED BY THE REALM AS WELL AS THE THEOCRACY OF AELDRIA.== The Theocracy of Aeldria hosts the Temple of the Conplus and encompasses a region parallel to the Mediterranean of Earth.- It is a temperate climate, with readily available sea travel.
    - Most indigenous citizens of Aeldria have a pale to medium complexion, are human, and are on average 5′6″ tall for females and 6′0″ tall for males.
    - Aeldria is home to active volcanoes as the primary form of natural disaster.
    - The national language of the Theocracy is Common.
    - Aeldria’s theocracy is ruled by a King chosen with divine right. The Conplus, throughout history, has varied between being at odds with the King’s policies and being in alignment with them.
    - Furthering on the above, the Conplus has been banished from the Theocracy before. However, they remained at the center of political discussion even throughout their banishment.
    - The Great Destruction ripped the seams of reality and allowed magical beings into the realm. These included dragons, fae, elves, and orcs.
    - The Theocracy allows all species within it’s borders, however many citizens still prioritize humans.
    - The most recent banishment of the Conplus occurred relatively recently, within the reign of Martyr Socrates' predecessor, Dargan. Archteacher Fidel led the return to the theocracy.
    - Most of said political tension comes from the fact that the Theocracy now has a sizeable population of magical beings, emassing nearly 25% of the population, as magical beings tend to outlive humans.

    WHAT IS THE CONPLUS AXIOM?

The Conplus believes in the following principles.1. The only redeemable life ends with an honorable death.
1A. Those who live as cowards will not be reincarnated.
1B. Death in war is the highest honor. Martyrdom is sacred.
    2. The Gods are limited in number and absolute in sum.
2A. Any God not recognized by the Conplus is a false idol.
    3. The words of the Gods is law. The Archteacher speaks for the Gods.
3A. The Archteacher is chosen by the Gods at birth.
    4. The gods created Humans in their image. All other species are inferior.
4A. Mixing of the species is a sin.

    WHAT IS THE CONPLUS HEIARCHY?

The head of the Conplus is known as the Archteacher. This role is by birthright. the Archteacher is selected at birth and raised for the role. The secondary roles are that of the Archclergy, or the Archcrusader, Archsurgeon and the Archmother or Archfather respectively. Each is the head of an order devoted to one of the Conplus’ three Gods: Life (Androgynous) Death (Masculine) or Physical Creation (Feminine.) Ancient members of the Conplus once worshipped a fourth god, of Magic (Genderless) but that God has been lost to time as the Conplus became more radical against magic-using beings.Below the Archclergy are Great Artisans, Great Paladins and Great Guardians. Below them are Artisans, Paladins and Guardians, and below them are Devotees.

WHAT ARE THE RANKS WITHIN & OUTSIDE THE CONPLUS?

INTERCONPLUS RANKSMARTYRS Are the highest ranking members of the conplus, though all of them are desceased by definition. They died in service of the Gods and were given a saint's honor at burial.
THE ARCHTEACHER Is the living leader of the Conplus. This role is by birthright. the Archteacher is selected at birth and raised for the role.

THE GREATCLERGY Are honorable clergymen who have outshined their peers and earned awards. The titles for the orders of Life, Death and Art are Greatguardian, Greatpaladin and Greatartisan respectively.
THE CLERGY Are ordained ministers, priests, artisans, warriors, caregivers, teachers, and other servants of the Conplus.
DEVOTEES Are those who have yet to take vows, yet still serve the Conplus in some way. Those who have chosen an order to serve will be given a uniform. Those who have not chosen an Order wear civilian clothes in neutral colors.
EXTRACONPLUS RANKSOUTSIDERS Are ordinary civillians who are not members of the conplus, and have never been.
APOSTATES Are those who have left the conplus, either by their own choice or excommunication. They are often approached with attempts to convince them to rejoin, or outright shunned if they were excommunicated. Most Apostates were deemed an 'issue' and excommunicated before they had the chance to leave on their own.
HERETICS are those who are vocal and public opponents of the Conplus, those who proudly worship competing religions, or are antitheists in general. They are treated with hostility.

WHAT ARE THE HOLIDAYS OF THE CONPLUS?

    1. CARNIVAL OF LIFE — Spring Equinox holiday in celebration of the God(dess) of Life. Their breath of life is loaned to Art and Death as they heal the ill and sick amongst the living and reward the fairly judged with beauty in their next life. In prior times, Magic was said to aide Art and Death.

    2. CONVENTION OF ARTS — Fall Equinox holiday in celebration of the Goddess of Arts & the Physical. Her architecture is loaned to Death and Life as they respectively repair and build upon the realms of the judged and the preserved. In prior times, Magic was said to aide Death and Life.

    3. FESTIVAL OF DEATH — Winter Solstice holiday in celebration of the God of Death. His judgment is loaned to Life and Art as they carve the next year out for the living. Those being punished by Death are spared for a day. In prior times, Magic was said to aide Life and Art.

    4. MAGIC’S FAIRE — Summer Solstice holiday in celebration of the God of the Spiritual. His knowledge is loaned to Life, Art and Death to preserve the souls of Martyrs and let them keep their memories.

    5. SUMMERFAST — A three-month-long semi-fast ordered by Fidel, in memory of the Lost God. To those who do not know of him, the fast is to appease the Gods due to the lack of a formal holiday. The fast lasts from 7 AM to 8 PM daily.

    WHAT IS AN IMR?

IMR stands for Inherently Magical Race. These are races or species that are either created via magic, come from realms with magic, have magical blood or inherent magic capabilities, or otherwise cannot be separated from magic.WHAT ARE THE IMRS?The current IMRs existing in Aeldria are as follows:All fae-blooded and descended races, including elves and drow
    Orcs and Ogres
    Dragonkin and Dragon-borns
The following do NOT count as IMRs:Dwarves and Halflings
    The Undead
Immortals who are not otherwise an IMR
Animal-Hybrids such as Tabaxi who are not otherwise an IMR
Dwarves and Halflings, though coming through the rift, are not considered IMRs. They’re categorized as tiny humans, and are regarded with the same level of acceptance or suspicion as human foreigners. They are the only ones on this list to be regarded as having souls, and the only ones to be generally accepted by human Aeldrian society. The Undead (Zombies, Vampires, Lichs, etc.) are considered abominations and an insult to the Gods of the Conplus.Immortals are considered abominations and an insult to the Gods of the Conplus.Tabaxi are hunted for sport. Most humans in Aeldria refuse to even communicate with them, and often kill them on sight. Coming through the rift is essentially a death sentence.DOES ANYONE HAVE DEBATED IMR STATUS?Angelic and Demonic beings (such as Tieflings) are debatably IMR. However, much like Tabaxi, they are hunted due to being deemed abominations and most do not survive to reproduce. It is illegal to kill a half-angel or a half-demon, so long as their other half is human.DO IMRS HAVE SOULS?No. IMRs have spirits. Spirits do not get graced with the presence of the Gods of the Conplus as Souls do.WHERE DID IMRS COME FROM?Humans are the only sentient, intelligent beings native to Aeldria. No IMRs are native to Aeldria. Instead, all IMRs came through Greitacia’s Rift.ARE THERE MANMADE IMRS?No. Anything manmade is not an IMR, it would be classified as a Golem or Artifice due to it’s artificial creation. IMRs evolved naturally in their respective world.ARE IMRS LEGALLY ALLOWED TO BE CITIZENS IN THE THEOCRACY?Yes, but they need a permit to use active magic, and their dormant magic is monitored.CAN I PLAY AN IMR IN THE CONPLUS?You cannot play a full-blooded IMR in the Conplus. You cannot play a half-human IMR in the Conplus unless they are over 60 and have a human parent ranked Greatclergy or higher. Their parent would not be excommunicated due to their rank and Martyr Socrates’ beliefs, as he was Archteacher at the time. You cannot play an angelic or demonic being in the Conplus unless they are half-human and their human parent was formerly ranked Clergy or higher. Their parent will have been excommunicated and they would have been raised by the church if they are under 60.

WHY DOES THE CONPLUS HATE IMRS?

The hatred of IMRs only came into play when Greitacia’s Rift tore open and magic from other worlds began to bleed into Aeldria. Magic was blamed for the rip in reality, and the Conplus banned it, whereas they had formerly regulated it and even taught it under the order of the Lost God, who was the God of the Spiritual. As Magic was to blame and the Conplus was in charge of regulating it, they were exiled from the Kingdom as punishment during the reign of Archteacher Socrates’ predecessor. This caused a divide in the Conplus. Many started rejecting the God of Magic and emphasizing the Gods of Art, Life and Death. A decade and a half later and there was a new Archteacher. The new Archteacher, Socrates was very controversial because he was tolerant of magic and believed that it did not cause the dimensional rift. He was also one of the few remaining believers in the God of Magic, or who would start being known as the Lost God around this time. About a quarter of the Conplus believed in all four Gods; the rest believed in only three.Archteacher Socrates died in the Great Invasion of 1400 between the Theocracy and the Roguelands. He gave his life for the Kingdom, and as a result of his sacrifice, as well as the beliefs of Archteacher Fidel, the Theocracy ended the Conplus’ exile on a hidden condition: That the Conplus would cease public worship of a God of Magic. This condition was only known to the King, and to Archteacher Fidel, and would be a secret kept to the grave.During Archteacher Fidel’s reign, the Conplus officially went from a quadrant religion to a religion worshipping a trinity. Worship of the Lost God was fazed out completely. There’s two types of hatred for IMRS: Hating them because they ‘are to blame for the Lost God’s erausure,’ and hating them because ‘they are to blame for the rift expanding.’ The rift is commonly believed to have been created by magic, and thus, inherently magic beings who have no choice but to use their magic if they want to live are ripping it open further and further just by existing. Think of it like a hole in the o-zone. Every time a car is on, carbon emissions degrade the hole. Humans can turn the car off. IMRs cannot.Technically, the Conplus hates the Undead more than they hate IMRs, but for other reasons. They have hated the Undead for millennia, since long before the rift opened. There is nothing in the scripture that is explicitly against IMR. There is, however, mountains of holy text that condemns the undead as a sin against the reincarnation cycle.

WHERE WAS THE CONPLUS LOCATED DURING THEIR EXILE?

During their Exile, the Conplus retreated to a small peninsula in the radius of the Holy CIty, and on the border of Montaggarde and Mt. Terminus Range.

WHERE ARE THE SAFEST PLACES FOR IMRS TO LIVE?

    1. The absolute best place to live in the Theocracy if you’re an IMR is the port city of Aktiporio. Due to being a major port city, there’s tons of trade and immigration and it’s also the only city in the theocracy who’s government is openly accepting and nonlimiting of magic. You still need a permit to fly or use magic, as you do in the rest of the theocracy, but these are given easily without the limits of obtaining permits in the capitol. Magic without a permit is a misdemeanor.

    2. Ironically the next best place to live in the Theocracy is the Holy City of Vitance. It’s also a port city, so for similar reasons, it’s more tolerant of IMRs, however the presence of the Conplus makes it less so. Permits require tests to obtain and frequent renewals and reviews. Magic without a permit is a felony.

    3. Akcameus is another magic-neutral territory, however it’s not as good to live in as the Capitol due to how poor it is. It’s a rural territory with mostly struggling farmers inhabiting it. You’re not likely to be hated for being an IMR, but if you use your magic to further yourself economically expect a glare or two.

    4. Theocratic Kokkasa is also magic-neutral, but magic is strictly regulated in accordance with Imperial tradition, and due to being somewhat of a colony it’s not the best place to live if you’re looking to avoid conflict internationally. However, it’s arguably richer than Akcameus, so it’s about tied with the rural province on the ranking.

    5. Fidatim has strong ties to the Holy CIty of Vitance, however, they are loosely anti-magic. Practicing magic is illegal, and IMRs need to be registered with a stay visa and cannot be citizens of Fidatim. Fidatim is known as the “stronghold” due to being furthest from the Rift, extending far north. They are predicted to be the last place the Rift will consume when it inevitably tears the world apart, and thus do everything they can to limit magic, but they are not outwardly hostile to IMRs and it is illegal to kill IMRs without a court order of execution, just like regular citizens.

    6. Montaggarde, while not strictly legally anti-magic like Fidatim, is very much culturally antimagic due to being the first line of defense against the Rougelands. The people there have experienced the brunt of offensive magic used against them during raids from across Mt. Terminus, and have suffered greatly. Thus, those from Montaggarde spare no hesitation. If they encounter an IMR, ( which is not the most likely since IMRs cannot legally travel between Fidatim and Montaggarde directly on a visa, they’d have to travel through the Holy City to get there… which is surrounded by a wall that only has official civillian gates on the Fidatim border ) vigilante justice will often be enacted and the IMR will be captured, interrogated, or even extrajudicially lynched. It’s technically illegal to do that but it’s rarely prosecuted by the city itself. If an IMR goes to Montaggarde, (which, why would they want to?) They’d probably go in a disguised magical form, which is a felony within the entire Theocracy.

    7. Mt. Terminus Range. The unofficial seventh city. Unless you’re a dragonkin or fire elemental, good luck trying to live on a range of severely active volcanoes. You’d have better luck in Montaggarde.

CAN YOU TELL ME SOME FUN FACTS ABOUT THE ARCHCLERICS?

Archclergy are appointed for life and can only be removed through a unanimous excommunication vote or by death, unless they willingly retire. Archclerics are appointed by their predecessor in the case of a retirement, and by the Archteacher in the case of a death.- Due to being half-elf, Frederic has a longer lifespan and thus has been the longest serving Archcleric. His term has lasted 62 years, and is still going despite several attempts to remove him from his position. He refuses to retire out of spite.
    - Frederic and his father, Cedric Desespoir, only simultaneously served for one year under Martyr Socrates’ reign before Cedric’s retirement.
    - Lithos is the newest Archcleric, having served for 5 years.
    - It is possible and often quite common to be named Archclergy before the age of 26, but you must be at least 18. Very few people are appointed Archclergy late in life, to ensure the youth and longevity of those appointed.
    - Both Lithos and Frederic gained their positions rapidly after the death of an Archcleric. Zain was the only current Archcleric prepared in advance, due to Volca’s retirement.
    - Trice has the record of the second-longest term. This is attributed to a long life under low stress levels, as Zain, Trice and Frederic served in near-perfect harmony under Fidel for 18 Years. Volca and Trice also had relatively little conflict.
    - Cedric has the record for the shortest term, due to conflict between his position in the Conplus with his position in the Royal Guard, as well as his bastard son Frederic’s promotion, which he failed to sabotage. He served 15 years.
    - Volca, Cedric and Arina served in complete harmony for 14 years.
    - If an archcleric retires, their successor traditionally inherits their title as a show of respect towards their mentor. If an archcleric passes suddenly, their successor usually takes on a new title with a similar theme. Zain inherited his title while Lithos and Frederic chose new titles.

WHAT IS GREITACIA’S RIFT, AND WHY IS IT DANGEROUS?

Opened in 1317, Greitacia’s rift is a tear in the fabric of reality, caused by a collective of stray magic that had drifted through the air and over the coast from the areas of the Theocracy and Ackamura to the southern cliffs. It has been predicted to expand at a rate at which the entire realm of Aeldria would be consumed within 500 years.Greitacia’s Rift is known as off-limits territory. No one who has ever traveled to the edge and climbed the cliffs has ever returned. One of two theories are hypothesized: Either the people who vanish are transported to another realm, or their molecules spaghettify and they die in the process- much like being sucked into a black hole. In fact, reality tears are very comparable to black holes: the only difference being instead of feeding automatically, expanding automatically: Reality tears need a fuel. The fuel in question, being magic. Once fueled, the Rift will start to consume resources on a molecular level, dispersing them randomly throughout the multiverse. While the efforts to criminalize magic in the Theocracy and Akcamura are done mainly out of bigotry for those coming in through the rift, theorized to have survived on a ‘one-way-ticket’, there is a very real reason behind it as well. Magic feeds the rift, and if there is less magic residue floating south on the currents, the slower the rift will expand. Conversely, if magic was used at an exceptionally high rate, the Rift would expand faster: and Aeldria’s prognosis would shorten drastically. The reason people are able to go from other worlds to Aeldria, and not from Aeldria to other worlds without risk, is due to magic itself. The rift is more of a portal than a destructive tear in other worlds, where transport through dimensions is normalized and magic is stable. Aeldria lacks naturally stable magic, and abuse of magic by Humans is what caused reality to tear in the first place.

WHAT IS DIVINE INFLUECE ON CIRCUMSTANCE OF BIRTH?

The Conplus are firm believers in the principle of Divine Influence on Circumstance of Birth. They believe that Art decides the placement of new souls that Life brings to the world, and that Art will collaborate with death to place these souls in accordance with the sins of the soul Death passed on.They believe that Kings and nobles must’ve lived a life of virtue in order to have been lucky enough to be born into wealth. Conversely, they believe that those born into poverty deserved it due to being sinners in their past life. After all, no just Gods would punish innocents or issue rewards to those who did not earn them. The principle of Divine Influence on Circumstance also applies to those born with disfigurements and disabilities. In fact, if one is born with a fatal disability, it’s often viewed as a mercy that their life will be shortened, seeing it as Death and Art setting their punishment to be much shorter in duration to someone born with a condition that would last their entire life.Lives of children who died of poverty or illness are viewed as ‘gateway’ lives, or having existed for the purpose of lessening or cushioning extremely grave sins of the past that would often need multiple lifetimes to correct. They’re martyrs according to principle, but not recognized as saintly like those who were born into privilege and die virtuous. With the pain of suffering and death comes forgiveness, as children do not sin as adults do, and their deaths are more likely to be virtuous. It is not permissible to steal food or medicine, or otherwise break laws for the purpose of maintaining life. One is supposed to die with their honor intact, and their list of crimes and sins as empty as possible.

Born in 1424 to a family of Aktiporian heritage who ran a cobbling shop in the midst of Vitance's common district, Lithos came from a humble start. His family were not members of the Conplus, and he aspired for greater things than to be a repairman like his father, and his grandfather before him.

On his 18th birthday in 1442, he applied to join the Guard. He passed his initiation trials with flying colors due to his incredible strength and charisma. He has excellent skill with a sword, experience on horseback, and a bold, courageous demeanor that made him the perfect fit.

Lithos maintained a connection with his family, but they grew distant, due to Lithos’ newfound nobility. Still, while Lithos had power, he was far from wealthy. He had become close with King Dante, and was knighted in 1445 at the age of 21, becoming one of the youngest knights in the history of the Theocracy. This promotion also granted him a seat on the King’s Court.

While serving the Crown, the Conplus had caught his eye as an opportunity to amass more power, and he joined their ranks as well soon after his knighting- ascending equally as fast, again due to his sharp wit and impeccable physical strength.

When Archjustice Trice passed suddenly, Lithos was seen as the most fit to take over as the Archcleric of Death's domain, and he gladly accepted the promotion in 1454. With it, however, came a caveat of an arranged loveless marriage to Fidel's successor, Maeve, who remains his fiancé. The purpose of the arrangement was to seal the union between the Conplus and the Crown, as Lithos was now considered one of King Dante’s closest confidants and guardsmen. Lithos harbors a hidden loathing for Archteacher Fidel, and suspects that he is disloyal to the crown.

When speaking or writing, he is fluent in Common and Aktiporian, and knows some Draconic, Undercommon and Historical.

Born to a noble Akcamuran family in 1410, Zain spent his first few months of life in the newly acquired Theocratic Territory of Kokkasa. Zain's family then moved to the Holy City to avoid tension and further Zain's father's political career as an ambassador. Zain’s father and mother joined the Conplus’ Order of Life when he was six years old, but Zain would not join until being selected as Archmother Volca’s protege in 1422, at the age of twelve.

Zain was trained by Volca intensely, but she also served as somewhat of a mother figure to him. When Archmother Volca retired in 1436, Zain took on the title of Archfather. He was 26 at the time. He served alongside Archjustice Trice and Great Artisan Olea, who was temporarily filling in over command at Vitance whilst the Archsurgeon was away on mission work in Aktiporio.

While Zain’s primary occupation is serving as the Archfather of the Conplus, he also established himself as a diplomat alongside his father: the difference being that whilst the elder Glorian was an ambassador from the Empire to the Theocracy, Zain was the reverse. He has a seat on the King’s Court alongside the rest of the Archclergy for their own various reasons. He received his Bachelor’s in Diplomacy at the King Martino College in Vitance at the age of 22, and worked as a diplomat ever since, traveling from Vitance to Akcamura when duty calls for it.

When Archsurgeon Frederic returned to Vitance in 1433, Zain quickly found himself growing close with him. The two became officially partnered in the early 1440’s with Zain taking the more dominant role.

Zain also shared a strong bond with Archteacher Fidel, the elder mentoring him. Furthermore, he had a good relationship with Archjustice Trice as well, due to them being Volca's domestic partner.

Frederic was born in an isolated manor in Montaggarde in the autumn of 1376, to Conplus Greatpaladin Cedric and a captured Szarkai spy. His mother had passed on in childbirth, and Frederic was raised by his father, who loathed him over Frederic's drow heritage. He was seldom let out of his room when Cedric was home and lived a sheltered childhood, not leaving the manor, until Cedric could no longer keep the existence of his bastard child a secret. During that time, he was raised with the ideals of the Conplus.

When Frederic was seven years old, his father was absent for three years straight due to work in Vitance. This was in 1383, the same year Cedric had been named Archjustice. Before then, his father would routinely spend time in the Holy City for business with both the Guard and the Conplus, leaving Frederic to fend for himself. Frederic became incredibly self-sufficient during this time, and found solace in his studies, sneaking books from his father’s library.

When Frederic was ten years old, Cedric took him to live in the Conplus’ exile commune in Vitance while Cedric furthered his secondary career as a royal guard for King Martino V. Frederic was tasked with being the personal scribe to then-Archteacher Socrates, and by extension his Successor, Fidel. The two boys became rivals almost immediately, fighting over the affection from both of their father figures.

Frederic has always had a deep passion for Art, his patron Goddess, and expresses this through his medicinal practices. He believes his work as a doctor is also serving the Gods. He attempted to attend the prestigious Marquis University of Medicine and Sciences in Vitance, and was even accepted to the school in 1394 at the age of 18, however, he was expelled three months into his studies after sabotage by his father, painting Frederic as a liability due to his tendency to use himself as a test subject for his controversial surgical innovations. He was then barred from all universities in Vitance.

Socrates still saw promise in Frederic and assigned him to be the next head of Art's Order after Archpainter Arina's passing in 1397. As per tradition, since Arina had died and not retired, Frederic was granted a choice of new title, of which he chose 'Archsurgeon' after his medical specialty, despite not having any official degrees. He was 21 at the time, and allowed to practice due to the Archteacher’s blessing and the separation of the commune from greater Crown society. Frederic’s promotion served as a point of tension between his father and the Conplus, and Cedric retired as Archjustice just one year later in 1398 and moved back to Montaggarde. The two were then estranged from that moment onwards.

In 1415, Frederic’s father became terminally ill with an unknown illness. Frederic had recognized the symptoms as being that of a brain tumor, yet refused to aid his father. The death was entirely preventable with Frederic’s expertise, yet Frederic refused to act, as the crown had been unified with the Conplus and he was not able to practice legally outside of the Conplus. His father passed away in early 1416. He had intended to write Frederic out of his will, yet did not get the chance to: Thus, Frederic retained the title of Lord of the Crown, left over from Cedric’s knighting. He has a seat on the King’s Court due to this title.

From 1420-1433, an opportunity presented itself to Frederic: The Crown of Aeldria had accepted his petition for honorary medical degrees after his work with the Conplus had given him some credibility, and because his proposal for a magic-removal surgery could potentially save Aeldrian life from the expanding rift. He was given a deal to travel to Aktiporio to perform his studies on immigrants from the rift, and once he had performed 1000 successful voluntary procedures, he would be given his honorary degrees.

Archteacher Fidel had appointed Great Artisan Olea to cover his duties in Vitance while he was away. It took the Archsurgeon thirteen years to complete his venture, after which he returned to Vitance. He was 58 when he was finally awarded the degrees he’d sought all these years.

Through it all, Frederic had retained his rivalry with Archteacher Fidel, the latter trying to remove him from his position by popular vote several times. However, both Zain and Trice were quite fond of Frederic, and this endeavor fell short at every attempt. Due to being half-Drow, Frederic is quite youthful for his age, and has not expressed the will to retire anytime soon. He remains the longest-serving Archcleric to this date.

When speaking or writing, he is fluent in Common, Historical and Montagese, and knows some Elvish and Undercommon.

Born in the Conplus' exile commune in the winter of 1378 to unknown parents of Fidatim citizenry, Fidel had been designated to be the next Archteacher within the final month of his mother's pregnancy. Upon birth, he was taken from his biological parents and placed in the care of Archteacher Socrates, as was tradition.

Fidel had developed to rebel against Socrates' teachings of acceptance and non-conformity by strictly conforming to the scripture of the Conplus. He took out much of his displeasure on Frederic, the only half-magical being in the Conplus at the time. Frederic also happened to be the primary beneficiary of Socrates' fatherly affection, leaving Fidel feeling neglected and only intensifying the rivalry between the boys, who were only three years apart.

Though he never obtained any official degrees nor petitioned the Crown for something honorary, Fidel was always quite an intelligent individual. He studied his scripture, but also history, linguistics, and even magic in secret. He is quite the gifted mage, with his abjurations manifesting primarily as electricity. He and Frederic often matched wits, however usually, Fidel would win out over the surgeon due to his sheer mental capacity.

The turn of the century brought new challenges and opportunities for Fidel. His predecessor Socrates would fall before his time, fighting in the Great Invasion of 1400, leaving behind Fidel to talk over as Archteacher at the mere age of 23. Fidel was summoned before King Martino V of the Theocracy to discuss honors in death for his father figure. During the meeting, the two formed the partnership of the century. What truly went on in the meeting was kept secret, but the outcome was widespread: new laws and reformations on Magic in Aeldria were passed. Prior to this date, vigilantism and flat-out murder was the only counter to magic users in the Theocracy. The Conplus’ exile was ended under the reign of Fidel and King Martino, and the commune was brought back to mainland Vitance to serve as the regulatory body over magic in partnership with the Crown.

Fidel was one of the last children to be raised in the Conplus with knowledge of the Lost God, or the God of Magic. Fidel had trained and honed his own magical abilities, but eventually disbanded the order of Magic for good when he became Archteacher. He is not open to the public about his ability, and secretly has a Permit to practice magic in dire situations, granted to him by King Martino V.

While the bond between himself and Martino did have its benefits, it also had its consequences beyond just the need to hide Fidel’s talents and beliefs as a mage. Fidel had been granted wealth and power beyond his wildest dreams, however, behind closed doors Martino was physically and politically abusive. At times during his youth, the Archteacher was nothing more than a puppet or extension of the King’s will. It was not until the late 1410’s, when the elder King began to decline into madness in search of an heir, that Fidel was able to break through and use the power he’d amassed for his own purposes. He has had his share of total rule of Aeldria alongside the Crown since the birth of King Dante, and resides on the King’s Court as the Head of the Church.

In the summer of 1429, Fidel named the unborn Maeve Deacon as his successor. When she was born, he was designated to raise her. He did as best he could to keep their bond strictly professional, but despite Fidel’s distance they do have familial feelings towards each other as father and daughter. He has arranged to marry her off to Archcrusader Lithos, as the bond between the Conplus and the Crown has weakened since the passing of King Martino V and the slow-but-growing acceptance of IMRs amongst the citizens of Vitance.

When speaking or writing, he is fluent in Common, Historical, Fidatin, Montagese, Rougeish and Aktiporian, and knows some Akcamuran.

    THE AELDRIA FANREGION.

THE REGIONThe Aeldria Region is considered the center of a supernatural event known as The Typegift Phenomena. Typegifts are rare world-wide, but much more common in Aeldria due to the presence of Greitacia's Rift, a hole in timespace and reality that formed at the center of the region. The Aeldria region is divided into seven theocratic city-states, as well as two border territories considered to be rival regions within Aeldria as a whole. The seven theocratic states are Mt Terminus Range, Montaggarde, The Holy City of Vitance, Aktiporio, Fidatim, Akcameus, and Kokassa. The bordering rival territories are known as the Rougelands and Akcamura. The rift is generally regarded to have been formed by the overuse of typegifts by humans, and thus, having a typegift is considered a criminal offense within the region unless the giftee has enlisted with the Aeldrian league and military. The region is very medieval in setting, and is technologically behind. Until the events of Pokemon Scarlet & Violet, the Region was under lockdown and was not open to international trade, travel, or communications.THE TYPEGIFT PHENOMENATypegifts are the ability of certian extraordinary humans to utilize and use pokemon-like moves. Psychics, Aura Guardians, and those who are able to tap into a pokemon-like power on their own are all considered typegifted.Typegifts are typically ranked on a scale of Type Purity, an old Aeldrian religious concept that weighs the impact of a gift upon a soul, the world, and the rift.As a game mechanic, typegifted trainers are allowed to utilize one of their own moves in battle. These moves are akin to Z-Moves in usage, however, count as a second attack per turn instead of a singular, enhanced move. Typegifted trainers get Same Type Attack Bonus when using a move matching their Gift Type, however can often adapt their gift into using a move of another type. For example, an ice-typegifted trainer like Giulia can adapt the properties of ice to use a flying-type or water-type move, and a rock-typegifted trainer like Matteo can adapt the properties of rock to use a poison-type or ground-type move.THE JOUSTThe Aeldria Region is home to a game event and mechanic similar to contests, showcases and musicals known as the Joust. You need a rideable pokemon to enter, and it involves dressing your pokemon for a parade display and mock battles.Rideable Pokemon count as any pokemon that can learn a rideable HM (Fly, Surf, Rock Climb, etc) as well as any pokemon that can be canonically ridden in other games. All horse-like pokemon automatically qualify as well.== TYPE PURITY RANKINGS ==Normal is considered the ‘universal type’ as well as ‘typeless’ and the most pure.Psychic is a special case, and considered secondmost pure. They are seen as the next evolution of the mind and soul, equivalent to natural Aeldrian magic.Grass, Electric, Fire and Water are considered the next pure, as ‘forces of nature.’ These types give way to incredibly strong gifts. They are equivalent to elementalism.Fighting is the next pure, another special case. They are seen as a variant of mind and soul known as aura, and are seen as a deviation from Natural Aeldrian Magic.Rock, Ground, and Ice are viewed as second-wave elementalism with minimal purity value. The protagonists of the Aeldria region are Ice and Rock gifted, respective to the Female and Male protagonist.Bug, Flying and Poison are viewed with no purity value. They exist, they are not anything of note for positive or negative.Dragon is viewed as lightly impure, still natural to Aeldria but a deviation and the antethisis of elementalism.Ghost is viewed as natural to Aeldria and an equivalent of the undead phenomena. It is viewed as impure and a sin to the reincarnation cycle.Steel is viewed as a highly impure, modern typing that is unnatural and manmade.Dark is viewed as a highly impure, modern typing that is unnatural and evil.Fairy is viewed as the most impure, a modern and foreign typing that is not natural to Aeldria in the slightest and the equivalent of inherent otherworldy magic.THE MUSESFidel serves as not only the Aeldria Region's professor, but as the fourth Elite.
